Description
As a Manager
I want to create a job using a single unified form where I can select an approved quotation, choose a lead, and schedule the job start date & time
So that I can quickly set up and assign field work without navigating multiple screens.
Acceptance Criteria
AC01 — Load Approved Quotations
The form must display a dropdown listing only quotations with status Approved.
Selecting a quotation must auto-fill customer details and job type.
AC02 — Lead Selection
The form must show a dropdown of all active leads (users with Lead role).
Lead selection must be mandatory before submission.
AC03 — Start Date & Time Selection
Start date & time field must be mandatory.
The date must be today or future (no past dates).
Scheduling must re-validate fieldstaff availability.
AC04 — Submit Job Creation Form
On submit, the system must create a new job with a unique Job ID.
Job status must be set to Assigned.
System must store:
Selected quotation, Lead, Scheduled start date/time, Creator info
AC05 — Notifications
After saving the job:
Lead must receive notification (push + email/optional SMS)
Manager must see a confirmation toast
AC07 — Job Visibility
The newly created job must appear immediately in:
Manager’s job list
Lead’s job list
AC08 — Audit Logs
System must record: Created By, Created On, Assigned To, Quotation Linked.
