APPFORSOLAR

In this session, the Jobs functionality was replicated from RegalSolar into AppForSolar by adding a fetchStaffUsers helper (filtering SiteWorker/SiteManager roles) in the Job creation form and building out the Installation Checklist UI in the Field Staff job details page. A fix was applied to the project search in the job form — it was previously filtered by workflowStage so no projects appeared; that filter was removed so all active projects now show.

A full fresh platform setup was done: all existing companies were cleared from masterdb, a new appforsolar-platform company was created, and a dedicated sudo user (admin@appforsolar.com / Admin@1234) was provisioned in a separate appforsolar_platform database. The .env.development was updated to point DEFAULT_COMPANY_SLUG to the new platform. Old RegalSolar platform activity logs were cleared from masterdb.

The login page was redesigned with a 3D flip card animation — the staff email/password form sits on the front face and the customer OTP login sits on the back, triggered by a clearly labelled "Are you a customer? Login with OTP" button. Card height was reduced using viewport-relative CSS variables so the form fits without scrolling.

Finally, the GET /api/projects/getNotifications 403 error was fixed by exempting notification endpoints from the subscription feature gate in subscriptionPolicy.js — notifications are a platform-level feature and should not require the projects module to be enabled on a company's plan.
