Description
Task:
Perform end-to-end QA testing of the Subscription Cancellation feature from the Admin side.
Testing Scope:
1. Cancellation Initiation
- Verify Cancel Subscription option.
- Verify Schedule to Cancel and Cancel Immediately options.
- Verify popup close/cancel behavior.
2. Scheduled Cancellation
- Verify available notice periods.
- Verify cancellation date calculation.
- Verify customer remains active during the notice period.
- Verify scheduled service visits continue.
- Verify billing continues during the notice period.
- Verify settlement estimate.
3. Immediate Cancellation
- Verify active job validation.
- Verify immediate cancellation is blocked when an active service visit is in progress.
- Verify immediate cancellation works when there is no active visit.
4. Settlement Calculation
- Verify completed service cost calculation.
- Verify amount paid vs completed service cost.
- Verify refund scenario.
- Verify outstanding balance scenario.
- Verify zero-balance scenario.
5. Refund / Outstanding Payment
- Verify refund processing.
- Verify refund method and reference number.
- Verify settlement payment link.
- Verify successful settlement status.
6. Post-Cancellation Validation
- Verify recurring billing is stopped.
- Verify subscription status changes to Cancelled.
- Verify future unstarted service visits are cancelled.
- Verify final settlement is recorded.
- Verify cancellation history/timeline.
7. Scheduled Cancellation Completion
- Verify cancellation happens on the selected effective date.
- Verify billing stops after cancellation.
- Verify applicable future visits are cancelled.
- Verify final settlement is calculated correctly.
8. Notifications & Pending Settlements
- Verify cancellation notifications.
- Verify pending settlement notifications.
- Verify pending cancellation/settlement records.
- Verify admin can review pending settlements.
9. Negative & Boundary Testing
- Active job during immediate cancellation.
- No completed visits.
- All visits completed.
- Refund amount = 0.
- Outstanding amount = 0.
- Multiple scheduled/future visits.
- Different notice periods.
Expected Result:
All cancellation flows, settlement calculations, billing behavior, service visit status, refunds/outstanding payments, notifications, and cancellation history should work according to the provided Subscription Cancellation Flow requirements
