Jobs – Issues & Clarifications
1.Duplicate Job Creation After Invoice
When an invoice is created or fully paid, a job is auto-created.
However, if a job is manually created again for the same invoice/quote, another job is created, resulting in duplicate jobs.
➤ Please confirm whether manual job creation should be restricted once an auto job exists.
2.Incorrect Start & End Time for Auto-Created Jobs
For auto-created jobs:
Start Date and End Date are the same (which is acceptable)
Start Time and End Time are also the same
➤ Without a duration, it is unclear how the job is marked as completed.
➤ Time logic needs clarification.
3.Missing Assignment Status for Auto-Created Jobs
Auto-created jobs do not have:
Team Lead
Team Members
➤ A visible status such as “Not Assigned” should be shown so admins can easily identify and assign staff.
if job has auto assigned for that job no team lead , team members assigned for auto job for that i think we have to create new status because based on status we assign team leads and members for easy access are assigned.
4.Redundant Service Selection After Quote Selection
During job creation, after selecting a Quote ID, if the customer has only one service, the system still asks to select the service again.
➤ This step is redundant and should be auto-selected.
Incorrect Default Working Hours
While creating a job, the default time range is shown as 6 AM – 9 PM.
➤ Business working hours should be 9 AM – 6 PM.
➤ Please confirm with the Team Lead and update defaults accordingly.
5.Job Created Despite Product Quantity Error
If a product has no quantity, the system shows an error message, but the job is still created.
➤ Job creation should be blocked until the error is resolved.
6.Labour Skill Filtering Not Applied
While creating a request with a specific labour skill, the team member selection shows all labour types instead of filtering by skill.
➤ Skill-based filtering is required.
7.Job Title Showing as N/A
In the Job Details page, the Job Title is displayed as “N/A”.
➤ Job title should be populated correctly.
8.Missing Product & Equipment Details in Job View
In the Job Details page, product and equipment information is missing or incomplete.
➤ Full details should be visible for reference.
9.Incomplete Action History on Job Time Update
When the start time or end time of a job is edited:
Action history only shows “Updated By”
Actual field changes are not recorded
➤ Action history should clearly show what was changed (old vs new values).
10.Assigned By Field Missing for Field Staff
After job creation and assignment, the “Assigned By” field is not displayed for field staff.
➤ This information should be visible for tracking accountability.
11.Restore Job Causing Incorrect Timings for Field Staff
After a job is assigned:
The job is deleted
Later restored after a few days
➤ In the Field Staff login, the restored job appears with:
Incorrect actual start and end times (showing delayed values)
➤ Restore logic should reset or recalculate timings correctly.
